Rennie packs his cutlass and rounds up two wenches (Cherie & Beth) before he boards the 70-ft cat Humu Humu to help raise money in the 2007 Pirates for Pupils Spinnaker Run. I'm sure there have been many times when my closest friends have wanted to hack my head off. Luckily, this isn't one of them. Captain Rennie gives a hearty "Arr" before the ship heads for sea. These fine ladies have had a sixty percent decrease in their lice ratio! Tea Lady "Ronnie" is partial to pirates. Rennie & Anne, pirates from Cassiopeia. Where does Anne hide her booty, only Rennie knows. Beware of those sly vixen pirates. Come on, show us your buried treasure. I never thought a skull & cross bones could be "cute", but somehow Karem makes it work. Karem gives us her best angry pirate face. I'm scared. Pirate Anne always has a new feather in her hat. True wenches prefer a cutlass in a good scabbard. That's some treasure chest you've got there. Rennie on the main. Don Cole, a traveling pirate, pulls on the traveler. Greg always chooses the most masculine pirate hat available. Don't let those hasty waiters clear your drink away before you've sipped the last drop. "Me want more grog and grub." Pirates have never been known for their grammar. Looks like these pirates need a refill on their grog. This is a party where you BYOB. Bring your own bird. There's no landlubbers in this bunch. Certainly not Norm and Mina from Wandering Roo. Caren. Who wears the hook in this relationship? Is it Camelia or Dustin? The 5-year old children of Punta Mita parade through the restaurant in their costumes that celebrate the coming of spring. The Queen (Reyna) of Punta Mita has many little followers. A parade of kindergarteners stroll through the restaurant thanking the patrons for their generous donations to their school. The little prince and little princess. This kid may be cute, but he's got a lion's roar. The feast at El Dorado Restaurant is always fit for pirates. You know a pirate has class when he says: How'd you like to scrape the barnacles off of me rudder? Don and Judy Cole from Hokulani, a Tayana 48. The ladies with Richard from Latitude 38. Now there's some chum-free eatin'. Beware, if you're not slugging grog, these ladies might keelhaul you. It's the pirate's life for Rennie. Those spinnaker runs from Punta Mita are so much work on the wenches. Don & Judy Cole enjoy some free time--pirate style. The horizon is known to make pirates a bit amorous. Don & Judy laugh...they've got a few months more of cruising Mexico before they bash back to their home in Newport Beach. I think we've found the booty. Cherie had it. Well blow me down, Beth Mackenzie is aboard! Anne and Rennie. Elizabeth & Cherie. Perhaps the grog turned them upside down. Beth & Jean, these two gals can really shiver your timbers. For the best canvas covers in Puerto Vallarta, call Camelia at Full Sail Canvas. Richard shakes a stick at his unruly band of pirates. I think Cherie's petticoat went to Tom's head. Camelia and Dustin raise our pirate flag. Bill & Patty from the Lagoon 470 Moontide. Jean and Cherie, friends since age 9. Pirates since birth. Cherie and Camelia. Caren darns the parrot glasses. Patty & Carlito in matching cute pirate blouses. Greg goes blonde. Tom, that crazy UK pirate. Cherie and Camelia dance aboard Profligate. *Photo by Karen. Richard motivates his buxom beauties with a big "Arrgh." *Photo by Jean. Jean's always ready to squeeze lime in your beer. It's the tastiest way to avoid scurvy. Camelia & Dustin.
