"Do not handicap your children by making their lives easy." -- Lazarus Long
357--Idaho: GPAR Ranch--Fishin' & Hiking
@ CherieSpotting

Another day fishin'. | Teachin' the girls how to bring home dinner. | Who is ready to eat? |
Be very quiet...we're catching fish. | Kids being kids. | In the Kubota. |
Can we just fish forever? | Cecila found the mud. | Going for a little drive around the ranch. |
Going crazy. | Diane. | Justin. |
Which way is up? | Reflecting on life. | Follow Uncle Kevin. |
In the Kubota. | Sister and brother. | The local crop duster. |
Which way do we go? | Diane and Justin. | Pat, our fearless leader. |
Justin takes a dip. | The water's so cold his hair turned blue. | The hikers. |
Justin and Cherie. | The valley below. | Hilda, Kevin, Diane and Justin. |
Fields of hops. | Those hop vines just make you want to drink a beer. | It's art time! |
Maria. | Joanna. | Kevin and Pat. |
Hilda and Diane. | Justin plays golf. | Cherie writes: On the ranch, life is simple. Freckled across the canola fields of Northern Idaho are drowsy Angus, skittering turkeys, frisky squirrels, and sometimes a lonely majestic moose. It's a quite peaceful sanctuary.
When you're hanging out on the ranch, dinner is caught on a fishing line and the side-dish is plucked fresh from the garden. The local lakes reflect the clouds in the day and vast universe at night. Lemonade quenches the thirst of hay-bucking men and women flip huckleberry pancakes for breakfast.
Enjoy these photos of the GPAR ranch where we spent a week hiking and fishing.
