cherie writes: On July 9, 2003 one-hundred-seven boats cut their engines, hoisted their mains, and unfurled their jibs to start the 6th 2003 San Diego Beer Can Races with a bang.

I was aboard Mistress, a 53 Swan Captained by Ray LaFleur. We just came to have fun, but we ended up in 6th place! I can't think of a better way to spend a Wednesday night!
