62-My Family

cherie writes: There would be no meaning in life, if it weren't for family.

My Mom is Beverly, she works for the US Postal Service, loves her two dogs Coco and Gizzy and is one of the hardest working people I know. She's always make sure her kids have a safe place to call home. She'll do anything for her family.

My Step-Dad is Eddy. He has worked at Black Angus Restaurant for over 25 years as a bartender. He swept my mom off her feet with his wit and classic jokes. Both Bev and Eddy love to jet ski and vacation at the King's River, the annual family vacation.

My Dad is Stan. He is retired from Allstate Insurance this year. Now he's trying to travel more than me! He also volunteers (and won volunteer of the year last year) for the Lodi Police Department. He just bought his dream RV and he and his wife Joanne are planning touring the United States in it. He is the most optimistic person I have ever met.

My Step-Mom is Joanne, who finally just retired so she could spend more time writing children's books and playing with her grandchildren. Joanne is very creative and loves to cook as well as paint.

My sister is Michelle. She married her husband Mac in January 1999, and now they have four kids named Ellie, Tanner, Kylie and Chloe. Mac works in the T-shirt printing business with his family and Michelle manages four kids under four years old. Mac and Michelle love to boat and jet ski and spend time with family.

My step-sister is Tonya who is married to Mike. They have two children named Tyler and Trevor. They live in Diamond Bar where Tyler plays almost every sport imaginable. Tonya is going to school and Mike is an Assistant Manager and is working on developing his own business.

My step-sister Julie has been with her partner Justin for over 10 years. On July 21, 2001 they were blessed with Grace Light, their little girl. They live in Pasadena, California where Justin works for Investor's Business Daily (still hasn't given me any stock tips) and Julie works for ABC (still hasn't gotten me a spot on any prime time shows.) When they come home at night, they snuggle with both Grace and their kitty named "Witty."

My step-sister Stephanie is related to Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is her father-in-law, except he was never the President. They just share the same name. Stephanie married her high school sweetheart Mike and had their first child in October 2000. Sophie lives with her parents in their new house in Pleasanton, California. She's expecting another daughter in November 2003. Two other family members include Max and Moose, their huge, slobbery, affectionate dogs.

My step-sister Melanie Bush (Yes, I have a "Bush" and a "Clinton" in my family. Melanie has four children named Trevor, Chelsea, Nicholas, and Auggie. (Don't think a lot of people didn't try to talk her out of the name "Auggie") Her new love is a chef named Tim. They live happily in Northern California.
